Hartman Family multi-parish pig roast - August 12, 2006  

For six years now, the Hartman family (Tom & Jasia) have invited folks from Toronto, Orillia, St. Catharines,Wyoming, and Armada to travel to their farm in Zurich for an annual pig roast. The Hartman's are true farmers and make their living tending their animals and fields.

Fr. Sulzen, is a seasoned pig carver and loved donning his apron to assist Tom with the cutting party. Everyone brought food for the tables along with dessert. A great time was had, even between all the activities.

A very competitive Fr. Sulzen ran a tough football team, while others watched. Volleyball was at a premium, the playground area full, water guns all over blasting at each other, and the hayride was something else.

Mass in the barn with straw bales for pews.
