Canadian Martyrs

Canadian Martyr's Chruch

Last weekend in September to coincide with the martyrs' feast day on September 26th.

Pilgrimage 1: A 13 km hike from St. Ignace to the Martyrs' shrine. This hike departs very soon after the Mass, and should be done by only those who are in the proper condition to walk this distance.

Pilgrimage 2: There will be a 3-4 km hike beginning at the picnic area at Highway 12 near Hogg's Bay, concluding at the Martyrs Shrine. These pilgrims will meet with the pilgrims from those who departed earlier from the Martyrs shrine.

  Our Lady of Lourdes Pilgrimage, Mission, British Columbia   
 
 

 

Pilgrims climb the last hill to the grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes

Pilgrimage begins at Christ the King Church in Langley and finishes at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes. Dates vary from year to year, so please inquire.

Hike: The full hike is about 30 kms. The afternoon hike, on Matsqui Trail, from David Taylor Park to the Mission Bridge will be accessible to younger children, only with their parents.

    Pilgrimage St Anne de Beaupré, Québec  
   

The Pilgrimage takes place at the end of July or the beginning of August. It begins at the church of St Ignatius of Loyola at 7:30am. Mass is at 4:00pm and at 5:40 the pilgrims enter the basilica of Saint eAnne and venerate her relics.The pilgrimage ends at 6:15pm. Details for August 1, 2010
