Do You Love The Holy Ghost?

God in His great wisdom has given us the Holy Ghost to help us travel along the road to Heaven. We should always have a deep love and devotion to the Holy Ghost, who is equal to the Father and the Son. He is there to help us day and night. And is ready to give us His greatest blessings, if only we will ask Him for them!

About 200 years ago, the French Revolution was raging in France. Priests, Monks and Nuns were being killed by the hundreds! They had done nothing wrong, but the wicked Masons hated the Catholic Church and wanted to destroy anything and everybody that was Catholic.

There was a convent of nuns in Vendee, France. They were all condemned to death for being Catholic! However the nuns were not afraid, when they walked to the guillotine to get their heads chopped off. They had lived a good life and were prepared to go to Heaven. As they waited in line, they sang the beautiful hymn, "Come Holy Ghost, Creator Blessed." It was truly inspiring to see these holy nuns standing at death's door and singing to the Holy Ghost. He was there to meet these blessed nuns with a crown of glory, as they entered the gates of Heaven.

Our Lady of Fatima warned that if Russia did not convert to the Catholic Faith, they would spread their errors throughout the world. The Holy Father would have much to suffer and the good would be martyred!

Oh, to be a martyr! Oh blessed grace! When you die as a martyr, your soul goes straight to Heaven; there is no Purgatory for you! You fly straight into the arms of the Holy Trinity and Our Holy Mother Mary. There they crown you with a glorious crown, and your heart overflows with joy and happiness! But to be worthy to be a martyr, that is another question!

We all hope to go to Heaven one day. So what is the best way to get there? Be a good Catholic! Go often to Mass, Confession and Communion! Have devotion to Mary! Have devotion to the Holy Ghost! And have devotion to Christ Crucified!

Remember, you're body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. He loves to dwell there when you are in the state of grace. Beg Mary and St. Joseph to help you love the Holy Ghost. Beg the Holy Ghost to help you do God's Holy Will, every day of your life. Beg the Holy Ghost to help you use the graces, which He showered upon you in Baptism and Confirmation. And if you should be so unlucky as to fall into mortal sin, tell the Holy Ghost you're sorry for offending Him, and run to Confession, so that He can come and dwell in your soul again!
