After the Consecration of the Crusaders...

Consecration of the Apostles:

Lord Jesus, we come to make our promise of being Apostles. We recognize Thee as our Master, the only one Who can give us the true life. We accept Thy Gospel, the only book that can teach us the true life. We adopt the program of the Crusade: prayer, communion, sacrifices, and apostolate. We want to develop within ourselves a more intimate life of union, a more intelligent Eucharistic spirit. We want to live in an atmosphere of more intense generosity. We want to make known to others, in a more precise and thoughtful way, the joys and advantages of this supernatural life. We want, by our example, our judgments, especially by Thy grace, to exercise among our companions; even in our family, an apostolate that is becoming more and more necessary. Others compromise themselves for the sake of evil; we wish to compromise ourselves for good. Others, by their frivolous conduct, teach the doctrine of the world; we, by our irreproachable conduct, want to preach the doctrine of Christ. This we earnestly want cost what it may. We know, better than any one, our own weakness; but Thou are there, Lord Jesus, to help us. And Thy Mother will be for us, more than ever, the Queen of Apostles. Amen.
