...Promise of a more, generous life

Consecration of the Crusaders:

Lord Jesus, we come to promise Thee to live a more serious life. We have begun to know Thee better in Thy Gospel; we wish to think like Thee. In order to live like Thee, We wish to receive Thee more often in Thy Blessed Eucharist, We know that Thy presence alone is a source of graces and of courage. Lord Jesus, we want to live a life of Union: union in the morning offering, union in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, union in the little sacrifices of the day. O Master, help us in the difficult work of our formation. Give us at least the tendency towards generosity. We do not wish that in our dealing with Thee there be question only of avoiding sin but we want to grow up in a more Christian atmosphere. It is with these sentiments that we join the Crusade. We do it freely, but also generously. Deign to receive us through the intercession of Mary, our Queen and our Mother. Amen.
