This mission was established by Father Normandin in the late seventies. At first Mass was said in private homes.  Eventually the parishioners were able to have Mass at St. Michael's hall, where it continued for many years.  In March 2010, the Mass was moved Lee Funeral Home which has a more suitable chapel to have Mass in.  Currently the congregation counts about 50 people.
