d) The Code of the Crusade

Four watchwords Pray.
Receive Communion. Sacrifice yourself. Be an apostle.

Four laws

  1. The Crusader prays always and for every one: Mental prayer, vocal prayer, prayer of action.
  2. The Crusader has a passionate love for the Eucharist. He prepares his Communions; he makes his thanksgiving.
  3. The Crusader has the spirit of sacrifice especially in fulfilling perfectly the duties of his state of life.
  4. The Crusader carries out the duties of his apostolate in his own surroundings that is among his schoolmates and his family.

Four daily obligations

  1. Prayer: The daily offering, morning & night prayers, Rosary…
  2. Communion: Sacramental Communion, or else Spiritual Communion.
  3. Sacrifices: Make some good ones and do not fail to mark them on the Treasury.
  4. Apostolate: At least that of good example, which is always possible.
